DESCRIPTION:2015 Canada Winter Games Business Readiness Workshops\n\n\n\nIn partnership with the Prince George Chamber and other community organizations\, Initiatives Prince George is hosting three workshops on May 6th\, 2014 to assist local and regional businesses in working with the 2015 CanadaWinter Games.\n\n\n\nWorkshop 1: For Potential Suppliers and Contractors\n\nThis workshop will outline what is being purchased and when\, what will be expected in terms of quality\, quantity and pricing\, how to bid successfully\, and create strategies for small businesses.\n\n \n\n\nWorkshop 2: Understanding Hosting Opportunities for Business\n\nThis session will provide an understanding of the scale and scope of hosting customers and VIPs during a major sporting event and how to begin planning and budgeting for hosting.\n\n \n\n\nWorkshop 3: For Economic Development and Public Sector Agencies\n\nParticipants will learn about the best practices in leveraging major sporting events to support growth of existing businesses and the attraction of new investment.\n\n\nThe cost to attend each workshop is $40 + GST.\n\n\n\nClick HERE for more information and to register.
