DESCRIPTION:The Chamber of Commerce invites you to join us for a Leadership Series Luncheon with her Worship\, Mayor Shari Green and guest speaker Simon Gibson\, MLA for Abbotsford-Mission.\n\n\n\nMayor Green will be discussing general topics of interest to the community: Marketing and Branding of the City\, Core Review Services decisions\, Parking\, Budget and Taxes\,  just to touch on a few. \n\n\n\nMayor Green\, born and raised in Prince George\, is a fourth-generation downtown business owner and is a past President of the Downtown Prince George Business Association.  Mayor Green is a founding member of the Downtown Partnership\, bringing together action-oriented partners committed to changing the face of downtown Prince George.  She sat on a variety of committees and co-chaired the Prince George Torch Celebration for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympics Winter Games\, and worked on the Bid Team for the 2015 Canada Winter Games as Director of Athlete and Village Services for the bid.\n\n\n\nSince being elected Mayor in November 2011\, Shari also sits on the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George\, the Northern Development Initiative Trust Board and its Prince George Regional Advisory Committee\, the Prince George Community Foundation\, the City's Finance and Audit Committee\, and the Municipal Finance Authority.  She is also a founding member of the BC Mayors' Caucus.\n\n \n\nMayor Green is committed to changing the conversation about Prince George\, by ensuring the City's fiscal future is sustainable and that City Hall is open for business through the relentless pursuit of customer service.
