If it is not done properly it can result in a considerable loss of profit to Revenue Canada.  How you prepare for the transition of your business can depend on whether your successor is family\, employees or a complete outside party.  Starting the process early and assessing the options can mean putting more money in your pocket."\n\nGaurav Parmar\, Partner with HSJ\, Trent Heppner and Paul Mercer\, Senior Account Managers with RBC will supplement this workshop from a legal and financial point of view.  In addition\, Heather Oland with Initiatives Prince George will introduce you to their program designed to connect owners of businesses for sale with the investment interest they receive in office.\n \n\n\n\nStan joined the Prince George office of KPMG in 1985 as an articling student after obtaining his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia.  He obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1988\, was appointed Partner in 2011. He over 25 years of audit and advisory experience and has been working in our tax group for the past 12 years.\n\nStan's primary focus is in delivering corporate and personal income tax services to clients\, both from compliance and planning perspectives with particular focus in assisting business owners plan and implement transition plans.\n\nIn addition to dealing with income tax matters\, Stan is the Prince George office specialist who primarily deals with commodity tax issues related to Provincial Sales Tax and Goods and Services Tax matters.\n\n\n\nDon't forget to register for Session 2 on April 15th!
