The Ministry of Technology, Innovation and Citizens’ Services will be hosting a series of provincial consultations on a new and innovative Two Page RFP process. The Northern B.C. session will be hosted on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, from 9:00 am – 11:00 pm at the Prince George Chamber of Commerce.
Government recently set a goal to reduce request for proposals (RFP) paperwork to 2 pages for opportunities less than $250,000. These consultations provide an opportunity to review the 2 page RFP templates and processes in detail, and provide feedback that will directly improve the procurement experience. Successful implementation depends on vendor feedback, and we hope that you will be able to attend.
The session will be hosted by procurement experts Brooke Hayes and Elizabeth Lowe of the B.C. Government’s Shared Services BC office. Ms. Hayes and Ms. Lowe are leading the provincial consultations with vendors on the two page RFP templates and process and look forward to hearing your feedback.
To register for the Prince George session on October 22, or a virtual session in November, please RSVP ASAP to Kailee Douglas at Kailee.Douglas@gov.bc.ca or (778) 977-5245. Please note that seating is limited and registration is required.
