We’ll show you the art of financial management and give you the tools you need to see that financial terms are not as scary as they seem!
Matt Hutcheon has 25 years of experience in advising businesses, non-profits and First Nations across Canada. His expertise focuses on building and using financial systems and reporting to enable better planning, financial management and decision-making by organizations.
A graduate of Queen’s University’s Bachelor of Commerce program, Matt operated Vista Enterprises, a bookkeeping, tax and financial consulting business for 18 years in his hometown of Kingston, ON. During that time, Matt was fortunate to work with a wide variety of businesses across a diverse array of sectors, including retail, hospitality, construction and trades, professional services, biotechnology and information technology. He has is the co-author of a small business management book, and has delivered a variety of training seminars related to bookkeeping and taxes, entrepreneurship and networking.
Matt is currently the Director of Conterra Financial, providing bookkeeping and financial management services to businesses, non-profit organizations and First Nations in BC and Ontario. He is also the founder of Taxwerx Canada Inc., a company developing innovative new approaches to providing personal income tax preparation.
