Carbon Footprint Reduction Project - Phase 2 "Meet and Greet" Reception
The Prince George Chamber of Commerce’s Carbon Footprint Reduction Project – Phase 2 “Meet and Greet” Reception
What is a carbon footprint? ● Is it profitable for a business to address it? ● What is the carbon footprint of a business? ● What can a company do about it? ● What does it take to reduce a carbon footprint? ● Why should carbon footprints be reduced? ● What is the cost? ● What are the benefits?
● How can greenhouse gas emissions be reduced?
Local businesses interested in reducing their carbon footprint are invited to meet with the students in UNBC’s Carbon Management class, and their instructor Kyle Aben. At this session, you will learn about the questions the students will be investigating in this project, and how this information will benefit your business. Please provide the students with a real business scenario to analyze as part of their course. These eager minds want to be able to apply their knowledge to help your business thrive.
Did we mention that the services of the students would be FREE? This is an excellent opportunity to take advantage of Chamber resources that can help your business demonstrate its commitment to the environment and our community. Not only will you be supporting the development of young talent at UNBC, but you will be able to save your company money in the long term.
