Networking with Bill Quinn

Networking successfully is key to having quality recognition and positioning in the community. In Prince George, there is always a growing need for companies to create credibility for themselves in major centers. Learn to seek out and grow the best connections for your business. It is vital for a business of any size to be aware of upcoming events, and understand how to turn them into relationship-building opportunities.
Bill Quinn
Bill Quinn is the President at NuStride. A certified executive coach (CEC) through Royal Roads University, he holds his Professional Certified Coach (PCC) accreditation from the International Coaching Federation. Bill has a strong belief in communities and worked closely with many organizations to give back. He serves as a mentor to the University of BC coaching program, president of Volunteer Prince George and vice president on the board of the Prince George Chamber of Commerce. Bill brings a new and refreshing insight to our workshop and will provide an engaging, interactive session with plenty of helpful tips to use in the world of networking.

Networking online can be a challenge. With social media growing everyday, it can be tough to keep up! When done right, businesses can harness the power of the online world to not only build brand loyalty among existing customers, but reach a wider audience than ever before. From Facebook to Twitter, Instagram to LinkedIn, Camille will give a crash course in the most popular channels and which would be the most suited for your business ausience.
Camille MacDonald
Graduating from BCIT and SFU, Camille MacDonald started her career in traditional media, as a news reporter and news anchor. Seeing the exceptional growth in the online world, she recently launched her own business, "Pop Media." Camille helps businesses grow their online following by creating content to post on their social media channels. She also targets their message, to the designed demographics. Camille brings a fresh perspective on using social media to network in Prince George.
Networking on a Budget

For many small businesses, networking can be a challenge - especially with limited staff resources. The focus of our final session, is how to network on a budget. Matt Hutcheon will explain how small businesses can recognize the best opportunity with potential clients. He will give insight on how networking with other local businesses can be mutually beneficial.
Matt Hutcheon
Matt Hutcheon is the Executive Director of Innovation Center Society. Matt works with many innovators and tech entrepreneurs to help get their ideas in motion. He is also responsible for the HubSpace powered by Innovation Central, which is a co-working space designed to foster connections and collaboration between people and help them advance their business ideas. Matt brings a unique expertise, with experiencing building his own business entirely by word-of-mouth.
