"Black Tie and Blue Jeans" President's Gala
Event Sponsors
The Chamber of Commerce is shedding the business suit and going “country”! This year’s President’s Gala event, called “Black Tie and Blue Jeans”, will be held on April 6th at the Ramada Hotel. As the largest fundraiser of the year, Chamber members come together to celebrate the newly elected Board of Directors and welcome the incoming President at this event, complete with silent and live auction.
Building on the success of last year’s Gala, organizers are going to great lengths to increase the “fun factor” this year. In keeping with the country theme of “Black Tie and Blue Jeans”, guests will enjoy a menu of down home comfort foods and will be entertained by out-of-town country musician Lee Dinwoodie from Kelowna. Lee will entertain us with music from The Eagles, Brooks and Dunn, Toby Keith, Kenny Rogers and Neil Young. Guests can also throw their hat into the bull-riding challenge as there will be a Mechanical bull on site or learn how to Two-step with brief professional instruction before the dance begins. We expect everyone to come dressed in their best fitting pair of denim jeans but elegantly dressed in Black tie from the waist up!
