During this one-day workshop for community/association leaders John Noonan, a Professional Registered Parliamentarian, focuses on the responsibilities of association members and the role of the board. This session will provide you with the confidence and skills to effectively lead a meeting and participate fully in your association.

A North Vancouver-based registered parliamentarian, professional speaker, trainer and meeting facilitator, John has helped build the confidence and skills of individuals and organizations for more than two decades. Specializing in professional associations and not-for-profit organizations, John works with groups or as an individual coach to help his clients achieve results through his professional approach and practical advice.
John Noonan is the President of the Parliamentarians Association of British Columbia, an Internationally Accredited Speaker, and a former President of Toastmasters International. As a Certified General Accountant, John’s skills and competency were honed over 24 years with Canada’s Business Development Bank. His responsibilities there included National Director, Business Training and Director, Management Services. In 2011, John became a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors and is a recent graduate of the Governance Essentials Program for Not-For-Profit Organizations.
