The Chamber invites you to an informational seminar on Small Business - Doing Business with the Federal and Provincial Government. The session will be facilitated by Tess Menges, Supply Officer at Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), in conjunction with B.C. Government procurement representatives Brooke Hayes and Elizabeth Lowe.

Federal Opportunities:
 
The government of Canada purchases approximately $20 billion of goods and services each year. PWGSC has awarded over $20 million alone in contracts to small and medium business in Prince George.  Federal government tenders (tender notices and bid solicitation packages) are now on the new Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders, the single window access to federal government tenders and procurement data.  Ms. Menges will be speaking on the functionality of the new site and how it will make it easier for you to do business with the government of Canada.
 
The Office of Small and Medium Enterprises (OSME) seminars are targeted for small and medium companies in all industries that want to learn the process around selling to the government of Canada and the government of B.C.
