As the newspaper of record for the city of Prince George since 1916, it has continued to evolve.
Cameron Stolz and Terresa Randall-Stolz, purchased the Citizen in February, 2024 and have championed a 'locally owned - community focused' approach.
Since their purchase, the Citizen has seen it's circulation increase to 23,000 copies and it's online news site increase to between 1.2 million and 1.4 million page views each month.
