Inclusive Leadership – from Intention to Action by Minerva BC
Online registration is now closed. If you are interested in attending please contact Clodagh O’Higgins at clodagho@minervabc.ca.
Minerva BC is a non-profit organization with a mission to change the face of leadership.
Moderated by Tina Strehlke, Minerva’s CEO, a panel will explore the idea of “inclusive leadership”, and provide ideas on how to foster inclusion and performance for women and other under-represented groups. At its core, inclusive leadership is about valuing the differences and commonalities of others. Done well, it creates a culture where employees feel a sense of belonging, and organizations reap the benefits of innovation, engagement and improved performance.
Tina will also provide a sneak peak of Minerva BC’s 2019 Scorecard data, which will not be released to the public until October 23rd. The Scorecard provides a current picture of the representation of women and Indigenous peoples on corporate boards, and in senior executive leadership, with a focus on BC-based companies.
Panelists include:
Tim Bennett – Executive Director, Big Brothers Big Sisters of PG
Felicia Magee – Director of Business Development, Northern Development Initiative Trust
Clayton Pountney – Chief of the Lheidli T’enneh First Nation
Shobha K. Sharma - Executive Director Central Interior Native Health Society
